THE CHALLENGE
SMEC originated in South Korea, but has established a European subsidiary in February 2018 and an American subsidiary in May 2018 in order to generally target the North American market.
As a graphic designer, I helped SMEC spread the word about their company in America and also created SMEC’s new website.

THE RESULT
As the Korean market witnessed a recession, strengthening marketing focused on overseas markets had a positive impact on earnings recovery.
Our team made a great contribution to marketing by designing the SMEC America Website.
As overseas orders continue to grow, sales growth continues in earnest. SMEC rapidly expanded its order to North America with corporate-focused supply system changes and marketing reinforcement. With the full-fledged activity of the US corporation and its performance in the market, sales have rapidly grew.
The equipment orders and margins have naturally increased with the help of design. The streamlining of the distribution system following the establishment of a US subsidiary also had a major effect on SMEC’s growth.
